Crazy weather???

We're getting plenty o' snow today and tonight. Churches and schools are cancelling their activities and there was a 20 car pileup on a nearby highway earlier in the day. http://www.wzzm13.com/news/article/2...-vehicle-crash

Crazy weather???

Sounds like "fun" Barb!

They showed a 30+ vehicle crash in Germantown, Wisc. on the news
yesterday.
Talk about driving too fast for conditions!

Its even chilly out here in DC. We don't usually get that cold or any snow this early in the season. We are ahead of schedule on both.

We got a frost so heavy this morning it looks like snow, coffee, coffee. I really do feel for you fellows who have to get out in the cold and work today. Be safe.

Crazy weather???

It is really beautiful and warm out now, sun shining, shirt sleeve kind of day now. BT that is cold, I remember how cold it was in Philly when I was stationed there going through school in the Navy. Walking guard around that hanger on the banks of the Delaware at night in the winter is no fun.

Crazy weather???

I was a little cold this morning too. I didn't even need the AC.

Seriously, I feel for you! Until 2 yrs ago I was driving to work in your weather. (Ohio) Two of the worst things were that I turned the heat down when I left home. It was awful at the end of the day, exhausted and walking into a cold home. The other thing was when I worked late, till 7 or 9 pm, and no one else was on the highway as I skidded and slid on the hilly, icy roads.

43 here right now and I am sitting inside with a coat on, just thinking about 5 below made my glasses fog up.

(Dashing through the sn.. wait a minute, there is no snow here.)

One thing I always hated was putting ceiling mold up in a house where old folks had the heat cranked up and were in the kitchen cooking. Talk about doing some sweating.
Or work outside for a few hours then go inside a hot house and work, not fun to me.

Work in a hot house all day, get soaked in sweat and then go get in a cold truck for the ride home.

We've gotten just over 24" of lake effect snow in the past 24 hours, expect to get another 16" today. At my shop (20 miles north), no snow.

Yeah, you guys got hammered up there. In Allegany we only had an inch this morning. We are what, 30 miles south of you?

I was in Farmington, Connecticut on Mon, Tues, Wed. Tues morning they were freaking out closing everything. turns out the 2 inches of snow they got was not good for them. someone at the motel made a comment about it to us...we told them we don't even plow that
