Christmas Wishes - Wishing for what?

When I was a child -
(Back in the day, when we wished for bigger stones and sticks to hold
the dinosaurs off! - nothing like a good Brontosaurus Steak, though!)
Before Christmas, the "Wish Book" from Sears, Roebuck and Co. would
come out.
(Now the kids have "Toys-R-Us" - lucky, whatever!)
I wished for a lot of things - (The "Wish Book" was A-OK!)
(No, you can't have that - "You'll shoot your eye out!!!)

Now, my wishes are a little different.

More work, no stitches/broken bones, etc...
What are your wishes???

Christmas Wishes - Wishing for what?

A plane ticket and something to drive for a couple of months when I get there.

Christmas Wishes - Wishing for what?

After 7 years and 3 kids, that I can finally give my wife (not married but refer to each other as such) a real wedding. She's just as cheap as I am, thank goodness. But it still seems frivolous to both of us when the house and the kids should come first. All we want is a honeymoon... Neither of us has been further than 300 miles away from home in a decade. Maybe somewhere warmer :-)

Christmas Wishes - Wishing for what?

I have a couple of friends & family members who are having a rough time of it, financially. I wish things would get better for them so they could enjoy the Christmas season with their kids a little more, without being so stressed out and worried.

My second wish is that there were 28 hours in a day so I could complete a few projects and cross a couple things off of my 'list of things-to-do'.

I remember the Sears wish book! Geez, I remember getting so envious going through it. So many things I wanted, but knew I would never get

I wish it would snow so hard & deep, no one will ever wish for a "white" Christmas again. Just kidding...

I wish people would remember what the day is really about. It isn't about shopping and pepper spraying other shoppers in the mall.
