Christmas Light - Did I win?

So was I the first one here to get my lights up and running?

Had to install one more outlet, You can chain together more than 2 of these C7 strights of lights or the little fuse in the pulg goes pop. Stupid since they only draw about 1.1 amp a string.

Currently drawing over 12 amps on outside lights. Ouch..

Looks like the tree is a wee bit tall!

You are in violation of the early Christmas code. No lights until the day after Thanksgiving!

You can avoid a fine if you leave the lights off until then!
Thanks for your support.

I'm surprised you don't have the wires run in conduit.

Wife already has the tree up as of yesterday... I supervised...

Will be putting up the oustide lights Turkey Day or this weekend...

Right now I am busy in Santas garage I mean workshop painting the conduit for the outside lights to look like candy canes.

I think it is 90 days...

LOL

No conduit, but I did install 3 outlets in the sofit so I didn't have to have any cords hanging down to the porch outlet. Going to wire them into my intermatic timer.

Not if you live in Alaska.
We like our lights the day snow starts to fall.
It's just so fitting.
It's not about Christmas..it's about winter celebration really.
Take em down about March

We had about 2-3 inches of wet heavy snow this morning. I am really really glad my lights are all up and ready. Around here, many people start turning on there christmas lights just after Thanksgiving, whats that, 4 days from now?

Slow and steady wins the race! I am pondering my stylings for the season. Good job though. I got my camera fixed by using an online chat guy. So, I will show you my victorian house with lights after I get my son up on that huge roof! I love the Holiday twinkle. Good job.
