Proof that guns don't kill people. People kill people. And sadly, find some really ingenious ways to do it at times. The only saving grace in this affair is that he didn't involve anyone else in the plot.

Chain Saw Suicide

What a waste. The guy may have had emotional issues, but he had a good enough head on his shoulders to figure out how to build his own decapitating machine.

I wonder if it's possible to commit suicide by Mentos and Diet Coke?

I mean, pig out all afternoon on Mentos, and then try chugging a 2 liter bottle of Diet Coke.

I wonder if it's possible to commit suicide by becoming so expert at Transcendental Meditation that you could levitate your body off the ground. And then if you took a lighter and an aerosol spray can of WD-40 and jet propell your body into a brick wall or something. That'd be kewl.

It really makes you wonder. Maybe chainsawing was a way of life for him? I know I'd like to go out in a blaze of glory doing what i love. Like Dale Earnhardt dying in a race, or Indian Larry dying wile performing his trademark motorcycle stunt.

If I ever found out I was terminal, i'd go for one last mountain bike ride (my biggest passin) and attempt the jump that Evel Knevel was never allowed to do at the Grand Canyon (my favorite place on this earth).

On a related note, I have a friend and mentor who died by chainsaw kickback-caught his jugular. He died doing what he loved.

That is so funny...... It sounds like something you'd read from the Darwin Awards.
