Can't sleep

Speaking of mountains -
Saw something on public TV, had to do with an assault on Mt. Everest -
Several climbing, parties went up.
I think it was called "When A Mountain Kills".
A bunch of people went up - some didn't come back down.
Saw people who were interviewed: and, the results of "frost-bite" -
(I've had "frost-bite" - ain't no fun!)

I HATE BEING COLD

but since there is no stopping winter you may as well make it as fun as you can.

I brought out all the lumber for the rink today. One or two more sessions with the lawn tractor and leaves and I will pound in the stakes before the ground freezes. And then wait for the nasty fun weather

Wow!
You people up North, sure do know how to have fun!
We skate on rivers (yeah - sometimes "thin ice"!)
It's bad enough that the rivers and lakes get frozen - you're going out
and flood your backyard?!?
Are you that much of a glutton, for punishment!?!
(Just don't let nobody skate on thin ice!)

Yup! Puppies and kittens will get even high fashion and brainless bimbo types to pay attention to you. An adult chocolate lab with big eyes, wagging tail and long tongue works too. And of course everybody knows there is lots of single spandex at dog parks?

Jan, as for ice rink? Me on ice skates is something every woman of any age lusts to see. Seriously, I learned to both downhill and cross country ski. I have has some death defying rides on ice slick slopes and in saucers or with a tobbagon (sp?) team. On ice skates or even rollerblades? Run and hide. I used to love roller skating.

The cold is the relationship between the Earth and the Sun.
It's the seasons.

Tell me about it. I should've called child protective services on my parents, the cruelty of it all!

No car with a/c or anything for me until I was 16. What the heck?

Ross: He's gone offline. The memories of the childhood trauma that we brought to the surface was too much for him to cope with.

Blame DDawg. He's always causing tears around here Besides, he's not around either to defend himself. Thats how blame works best

So, that's how we can "get away with stuff" around here!
Thanks for the "heads" up!

Just wait until they're not around -
Then - we can give them grief!!!

Have fun with the ice-skating rink!
