Busch beer is a respectable lager for daily consumption so is pabst blue ribbon. Whats your go to beer?
Something with flavor and body. Guiness, Fat Tire, Belgium 1557, Black Butte Porter. Portland has more breweries than Germany. I like most anyything from McMinaman's, the Ruby Red, & Hammer Head is great, wonderful food. Portland Brewery has a Honey Beer, best in draft. Full Sail is not far upriver, they have seasonals and good food. Close to Full Sail is Dark Horse w/great beer, food is not. Central Oregon has Deschutes Brewery with Black Butte Porter. Eastern Oregon has Barley Brown's, they have been voted best in the nation for some of their beer. Their beer is sold off premises, but only by the keg. I may be prejudiced, Shawn and Tyler are clients of mine. We have such good beer in Oregon, I am at a loss to explain why Bud Light is the best selling beer, followed by Keystone Light.
Since my wife had to go "gluten-fee" recently, we've discovered "Redbridge" made by Anheuser-Busch. We both quite enjoy it. I also like Straubs, made here in Pa. Also love the Sam Adams line, always good.
Redbridge is the only gluten-free beer that we've tried. Anyone tried or know of any others? I've seen Bards, but it is $45/case. Tks.
