Awesomest Trucker EVER!!

Check out this video of a Puerto Rican trucker hauling butt on a twisty mountain road. We drove north on the road and two days later we followed this trucker south bound. We made the south-bound trip 20 minutes FASTER behind the trucker! He cleared the road for us.

When we first drove north on the road we heard some distant sounds, like a train horn. Thankfully we were paying attention, because it was the warning of a caravan of car-carriers headed our way. They were not going to give any quarter and just 'expected' us to get the heck out of their way.

MAJOR props to truckers everywhere but extra thumbs up for these folks who keep their island moving!

Is that your quote or did you just copy the description from the video?

Um. Both. 'cause I posted the video too. Sorry to be redundant - I hate it when I do that. Sorry to be redundant.

I shot this out the windshield of our rental with my iphone.

And BTW - it's worth watching you can almost hear it when the truck locked it's brakes up to avoid hitting the oncoming mercedes. I've got 20 more minutes of footage. But this captured lots of the fun.

Well, fast maybe, safe?, not so much.
Being that this is my now chosen profession, safety, especially for all others out there is first. We do not use the size of our vehicles to intimidate other drivers( at least most of us)
