Good looking fruit.

Did you comment recently about wanting to replace that countertop?

Dead on. But cadoes and sushi demand you change your perceptions of what food should feel like.

I have been known to eat just a nice avacodoe for lunch. Tiny bit of balsamic vinegar and some finger crushed fresh herbs. Squeezed citrus optional.

YES I did.........about 5 years ago my wife remodeled her mom's kitchen and put in granite......when we saw it, we stopped all work on our kitchen with the intent of doing granite.....as soon as my 2-story addition is done...the kitchen is getting a few 'mods'....as in take out one wall...move the fridge from one side to the other and install granite....the washer and dryer came out of the kitchen so we now have about 6' more feet of counter top space....

Here is a view of the kitchen shortly after we did the initial remodel....

In comparison to what it initially looked like.....

Much better of course but I worry about the countertop lip length. The sink seems to cramped into the space too.
