All of those low-life dirtbag people advertising websites in the forum...

These people are the third lowest form of life, just above child molesters and people who abuse animals. Anyway, the key is, make sure that if you see a post with a link that looks suspicious, even if you are curious, do not click the link. Most of these people get paid for EVERY IP address that clicks those links. Regardless of what people do once they reach the site. If you don't want to put money in their grubby little hands, ignore those links.

Yup
Many get paid per click
Please resist the temptation

It's OK to report a "spam" if it's questionable
We check out all the reports
If it's OK we leave it

We'd rather check out a questionable one and decide it's OK, rather have a spam sit up there, with the spammer getting paid every time someone's curious and clicks on it

Thanks J

Oh, and remember the report bad post button is the lil red circle with the "!"

Are you talking about undercover spam? Does the post look like a homeowner looking for help with a link to some pictures? What is said to entice someone to click the link?

http://www.diychatroom.com/showthread.php?t=8186 This must be what you are talking about.
