Accident this morning

So this morning i was driving to work and witnessed a new tahoe lose control cross oncoming traffic, jump a ditch, and continue speeding through a small open lot until it crashed into a line of trees.

Say what you want about american society but with 5 seconds at least a dozen cars slammed on their brakes, jumped out of their cars and sprinted through this field to help the passengers. Even though it was a very servious accident and i pray for everyone involved, i felt good knowing that people cared that much (even a 300+ pound women was running through this field. I called 911 and waited for the medic to show them where the SUV was.

Just thought i would shared. It made my day knowing my local economy still cares enough to stop everything in their precious day to help out one another.

Never heard why it lost control. I check the local paper but it hasn't said anything yet.

Seeing accidents can be scaring for life. Accidents involving speed can be the most horrific and tragic of all accidents.
Prey to god that everybody involved were safe

That's amazing that so many people tried to help. Hopefully their actions were enough to save everyone in the accident, or lessen their chance of permanent injury.
