Just looking for information. Not really sure why its strange to ask where someone works when they bring it up. Im in the middle of a huge renovation and, if i can hire out some work to save time and help others in a bad economy, than isn't that a good thing? I don't want to know where this person works anymore. thanks for "translating"

Your statement is in direct contradiction of what DIY means. ie. save a buck by doing it your self and to save as much on the project as possible.

You would not want to pay what a good pro is worth. Not saying you are cheap only that since you are doing the renovation DIY a good pro would not be interested in your project when he can make the going rate else where.

This angers me a bit because the word narcissist comes from my native language of Greek. And I have yet to see any American use the phrase correctly.

We are here to help and we do that. But the rules disallow you from soliciting others for your project.

FYI You had a bit of a rant when you complained about $1200 for valves.

Don't you think that would put off any Pros who read it?
