The beauty of some things is timeless
An exquisite work of art. A young baby's laughter. Simple yet powerful prose or lyrics

There is nothing in this day and age that will ever have the staying power of the Beatles.....

For sure. The classic rock stations of the future will have a hard time filling up their playlists with Greenday, the Foo Fighters, and Linkin Park. I like all those bands, but older people think of them as "racket."

I see you are a true music lover. ..
Wait a minute..I'm older and I love all that stuff
I've always preferred alternative rock over mainstream. But you're right, a classic will always be a classic.
Muse, Oasis, Mumford and Sons, ect. will only be remembered by retro stations.

I agree with you, except for Oasis. They were/are huge around the world, just not quite as much here.
