13th Community Annual Soapbox Derby

What a great way to spend a Saturday! Some cars were entirely homemade and some are kits that were generously donated by the Lions Club.

What fun to send your child hurling down a ramp and a steep Rd ..hopefully they brake before crashing into the pylons at the finish line !!

The Principal of the school is the lady in white. The kids challenged her a couple of times. She will face the music on Monday morning !! What a good sport !

I'm not racing cuz I'm snapping the pictures. The only racer over the age of 11 or 12 was the school principal.

Even if my Ram was 3 feet long and made out of balsa wood, It would still smoke your ford.

My daughter was driving one of the yellow ones and my son borrowed our neighbours. Its the black one in the last picture. The original kid who drove it is now 18 yrs old.

As usual..lots of fun for the kids and lots of work for the adults

Now see here boy. I can find vids all day that dispute your claim. Did you see the video I sent that has a Canadian soldier WINNING the tug of war against the US soldier.

Does this mean our military is stronger than yours.....No Canadian military jokes required thank-you. We are a nation of peace keepers and love makers ! No haters allowed

I gotta go cut the grass now. The lawn tractor is in my unlocked garage with the key left in it. Somedays the overhead door is just left up in case anyone needs to borrow it

Actually you all have plenty of guns. I watched that Bowling for Columbine not too long ago. Must be nice to able to live like that, peaceful.

Must be nice not having to worry your child will get shot.
