Lived most of my life in Toledo, Ohio then 11 years in Ocala Florida and now 3 years in Lafe, Arkansas (just North of Jonesboro).

I'd have to agree with you Colin on being in the rain forrest because I am from Nanoose Bay Vancouver Island British Columbis Canada and I have never seen so much rain and wind in fact I am lucky to be keeping my head above water. Yup I live on a island in the Pacific and lovin every minute of it. For those who don't know, Vancouver Island is about a 8 hour drive from one end to the other.

Where we have beaches and well... Some Virginia stuff.. Like Jamestown and Billysburg [more formal people call it Williamsburg] Nice place to live.. Not too hot or too cold.. And we get a good hurricane every once in awhile! |

Deep in the Heart of Texas here.
I don't envy those of you who have to contend with winter snows and more cold than I've ever experienced. You really can fry an egg on the driveway in the middle of July down here.
