We're new here too...working on fixer-upper projects!

We have a ton of work to do, and very little experience....which is somewhat scary! So we are definitely excited about this great information resource!

Currently tackling the exterior paint prep on our house. Planning on putting the new Sherwin Williams Resillient (sp?) satin finish exterior paint on the wood siding.....after we get past the prep and repair, that is. Hoping to get the whole exterior done in the next few weeks, working at our pace instead of a contractor's pace.

I'm not good with tall ladders, so that part is my husband's and son's job. I'm the researcher, shopper, and the low work detail person on the crew.

Speaking of ladders, our first step, after researching paint, was to purchase a Werner Equalizer extension ladder from Lowe's, so this can all become a reality!

Dodging thunderstorms, using our "elbow grease", and building family togetherness here! =)
