Welcome me!!!

Jk lol.

But yes, I am new here. I'm also a new home-owner (my wife and I) as of tomorrow. I like to think of my self as fairly handy, though I don't have much experience.

Anywho, the house is in San Diego County, CA, and it's relatively tame in specs. There are some projects we'd like to do right away; build a small deck in the backyard, add built-in shelves/cabinets on either side of the fireplace in the living room, and replace the sliding patio doors with something more efficient.

Overambitious much? I sure hope not

Welcome me!!!

Thanks for the welcome. Anyone know how to get a stubborn shower-neck unscrewed? Bought a strap wrench and it laughed in my face.

Is there any possibility that someone could have soldered the neck in? I'm a pretty strong lad and it didn't even budge a centimeter. Next step is a pipe wrench, but anything I can do to loosen it would a great help!
