Default Thanks for having me....

I'm one of those people who wants to do everything for himself. It's both a blessing and a curse. I save money on the labor end of things, but I get so much more in the way of satisfaction. I'm a perfectionist and have a real hard time getting people to do a good job when I hire someone. Admitedly the time I put into things if I do the math, I make less than min. wage. But I enjoy the challenge. I have recently bought a different house and will be doing some changes to make it 'home'. So I will be posing questions from time to time. I will use the 'search' feature before I do so as not to duplicate things.
My most recent project here was a 650 foot stockade type privacy fence. I stick built it and all the fasteners were screws. That way I can take part down if I ever need to and put the same lumber back.

Okay, I can ramble all day, so I better stop. Again, thanks for having me.

Mike
