Default Tearing off Roof and Adding a Second Floor

Howdoledo
My wife and I just baught a pieceOcrap house on a nice size lot in a great neighborhood. We are are pretty excited. We are still in the planning phase. It should be a fun project (fun like being dragged around by a horse on a gravel road with raised manholes). It will be the biggest project I've done. I feel like I've been training for this one.
Well I look forward to putting questions out there and hearing back new ideas and good advice, and hopefully I can reciprocate some helpfull tid bits back.
