selling home soon, I hope

HI! I'm Sue from central Wisconsin. I want to sell my 112 yr old house. I've lived here 26 years. Need to replace/repair a few things before it goes on the market, so I came here for advice. Glad to meet you!

HI oh'mike! I have searched the forum for 'general' questions, but all I can find are the 9 specific categories.
I am on a very limited budget, and I want to know what repairs/replacements are really worth it before selling my house.

You must have liked it. Half the people move within 7 years, 95% within 14.

Focus on clean and clear first... but anything that can be completely done by you in less than a day and less than $50 should probably be done. Anything that costs more than $1000 that isn't a "life safety" issue can wait for the buyer to say something.

Make a list of the other things in between those extremes and the ideas will start rolling in.
