Saying Hi.

I am not new to forums or computers, but I am new to home improvement and this forum in particular. Here is my situation: My girlfriend owns a house, a real handymans dream, and I have done about all I can to the place with the small amount of knowledge I have. The resealed tub and shower work well, some floors have been painted (yes, painted) and utility bars for pots and pans have been hung in the kitchen. But now I think I am ready to tackle some more serious issues, and any help from some experienced DIYer's would be most appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.
