Sailit143 Newbie Join Date: Aug 2010 Posts: 1	Re-plaster 1975 ceiling Hello, I am new to the site, live in Southern California. I am trying to get some advice/help about a home project I am working on. I have a ceiling where I recently removed the popcorn (1975 vintage). The plaster underneath contains electrical heating coils and is very uneven (gouges, trowel marks, etc). In two points there is about 1 - 2" of what looks like copper coil exposed. I am trying to level out the ceiling. Can anybody recommend a product to use and the steps required? I was thinking about using USG Plaster Bonder and then USG Diamond Veneer Finish. Has anyone used these products? Thank you for your help.
