Just wanted to make an introduction post and introduce myself. My name is Drew and I'm an Aviation Hydraulic Tech and former Welder. I've joined this site because I love building and repairing and often have questions on the "right way" to do a project. I like doing things once and not having to worry about doing it again. I'm also looking to start a small part time home repair service for locals and could use this site to help me with a task that I may not be as familiar with. I've been welding for a little over ten years and I dont consider myself a know it all by any means, but I'm somewhat confident in my ability to get the job done when it comes to that....atleast steel anyway Haha. I've just started trying to make metal sculptures out of scrap so we will see how that goes as well. I'm happy to have found a devoted website for the do it youself folks and look forward to gathering information!
