Nice ta meetcha!

Hey everyone! My stepson told me I should come in here and check it out! (he's my apprentice ) I've been a member over at Contractortalk for a while now, but I haven't had the pleasure of coming over here to this side! Hope I can help while I'm here. I'm a ceramic and stone tile contractor from Bridgton, Maine, and been in the business full time since july 1980. But I've been connected to the business since I was in diapers-- my father and grandfather were also both contractors, and I set my first tile in 1967 when I was 10 years old, when my father was building the home I pretty much grew up in, in Orange, Connecticut. I've got some pretty deep roots in the business, and hopefully I'll be able to share the benefits of those roots. At the same time, I don't know everything, and maybe I can pick up some tips or pointers while I'm here, as well.

That, it is!! I've said it more than once-- the oldest salt can learn even from the newest apprentice sometimes. Just ask my stepson (CCSowner)-- he thinks it happens on a daily basis!!

Nice ta meetcha!

Hello from Tampa, FL! I am new here too and sooo excited - I'm can hardly contain myself! I've been a DYI'er since I moved out of my parent's home. If I want something done, I do it myself.
