Hello everyone, my name is Greg. I live in ND and am working on finishing the lower level in our split level home. I am a graphic artist by trade but consider myself fairly handy. Thanks for letting me join your community.

Welcome fellow ND-person!
Good avatar pic there! Your dog?! Mine is our Samoyed Callie, sleeping by our patio-door when she was littler...about 4mo. old I think. I'm in Fargo, and work at a busy independent Hdwr. retailer in the paint dept. Faron |

Your dog is beautiful I have always loved samoyeds. My avatar is not my dog it is one of the portraits that I did on scratchboard. I have a yellow lab named Angel. I live in Bismarck. |

Wow!
Well it sure fooled me! I thought it was a real pic! Well....let's see a scratchboard avatar of your "Yellow"! Our "little" Samoyed is now 40lbs. She MAY fill out another 10 lbs. maybe. I think the Mom was ~ 50lbs. True to her "sled-dog" heritage, She sure can PULL...HOLY COW! It's like walking behind a tractor!! How big is Angel? I know some Labs get pretty beefy! Nice cool ND-style weather lately eh?!? Faron |

She is a great size. Angel is a small lab she is 55-60lbs. I have never done a scratchboard of her yet. I have the photo that I want to do just have not done it yet.
I am ready for spring, this winter has already been very long. I don't remember the last day that I didn't have to shovel at least a little bit. We are supposed to get a break from the bitter cold so at least we have that to look forward to. |

Say...
Did'ja hear about our possible record-flood scenario along the Red-River?! 2009's record level was 40.82 feet on the Red. Prep is gonna start REAL early on this one! Overall, we're in better shape to handle it, but if they decide to protect to 42 feet, there'll still be a lot of sandbagging! Faron |
