Newbie on board

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to say hello! I live in Southern Ontario and bought an 80 year old our a couple of year ago that my wife and I have been updating over the years.

We think we are pretty much done, still a few things we are looking to do. I love being able to finish a DIY job and stand back and admire the work. Look forward to learning and contributing were I can.

Me too....newbie as well. We bought a 40 year old house and this is our first rehab. We had previously done a few things with a 170 year old house, but that wasn't a real flip. So this one is a step up. Btw I'm also from Southern Ontario. Hope to talk more!

Great! Welcome aboard also!

Maybe someone on this thread will be able to point to the correct forum. I posted a question about finishing the cistern that is underneath my front porch. It is not a working cistern as there is a door from the basement into the cistern. What I am looking to do it put a ceiling/subfloor up as above the white styrofoam ceiling there currently is, is the wood front porch.

The main post has more detail but I have not really received any reply from it, so I am thinking it maybe in the wrong forumn.

Thanks for the help!
