Hi everyone! I am a newbie to home remodeling. We are just getting started remodeling our kitchen and bathroom in our first home... all suggestions are appreciated!

Know your limitations. I've seen a lot of DIY work done wrong (but to be fair, I've seen a lot of pro work done wrong as well). If unsure how to do something right- ASK!!!! If still not sure, consider a pro. Most times if you factor in your time and the potential for having to do something over again, the pro is CHEAPER!
