Hi, I'm relatively new to forums but was very excited to find this place to exchange ideas, suggestions and support.

I started my own business just over 2 years ago, Workshop for Women, LLC. I teach basic home improvement skills to women in the Denver Metro area (Colorado, that is).

My goal is to teach women to handle basic home repairs themselves while also educating them about when to call a professional. I teach things like drywall repair, how to hang things on your walls and ceilings, replacing receptacles and installing switches and light fixtures. I also teach the basics of power tools and simple carpentry skills and also simple sprinkler system maintenance. I hope to have a new homeowner class and plumbing class available by the end of the year.

I am by no means an expert but have enough experience to know what are my limitations. I've learned something new in every class I've taught and I'm fortunate enough to love what I do.

I look forward to meeting everyone on this forum and say Thanks in advance!
