I presently live in So Cal where I moved to care for an elderly relative. I am a reluctant landlord having rented out my residence. My tenants split without notice almost 2 weeks ago leaving me a lot of stuff to fix and not much money to do so.

Over the years I have done a lot of minor DIY projects around the house but due to being partially disabled I can no longer do the types of projects I once could. I'm hoping I'll be able to find some solutions here to a couple of problems the tenants left me. I see a lot of interesting topics so I'd best get reading

Welcome aboard. Many of us here are also learning as we go(myself included). However, there are a lot of pros here, eager to help out when they can. Sorry to hear about your tenants. I can't for the life of me figure out how some people can do this to others. If there is a particular job that needs to be done, you might want to try the search function first, and if you don't find it there, just ask away.

Good luck!
