New to the site.

Hey all, just wanted to stop in and say hello. I am new to the site, I have lurked in the shadows reading for a while and finally decided to join now that I am back in the states about to purchase another home.

I am an engineer by trade in the military and consider myself somewhat of a jack of all trades.

Thanks for the info thus far, and look forward to helping out when I can with questions!

Andy

Welcome home and thank you sir for your service. Where in Tennessee if you don't mind me asking? My wife is a native Tennessean, I"m "naturalized", having lived there for thirty years. Currently in Texas do to a job move, but considering moving back since the job migrated south(seems like thats the only thing that moves south across the border).

Pretty country there...my first permanent duty station way back when...
I lived up at Paris, 'bout 60 miles west of you, for nearly twenty years. Be sure and check out LBL. If you like the great outdoors, you'll love it.

Be proud trooper, and have a cold one on me! I was a scout/sniper in the Wolfpack Co D 3d Bn 187 Inf(old 3d Brigade 101) One of the last Airborne at FTCKY for a long time. On our last jump, my patrol was blown out of the DZ and over Bumpus Mills, where we were held at shotgun point until base liaison came and paid for the chicken coop my buddy crashed through:laughing: Good times indeed!
