New to this site
 

Hi all. My name is Jim Gibson and I'm 49 years old and live in Central Florida near the beginning of the Turnpike.
I have been disabled with spinal arthritis for 22 years but still like to work as much as possible so that I don't completely freeze up.
Usually when I have a project, I get a do-it-yourself book, read it, and have at it. This way of doing things was originally born of necessity (when raising three kids on a fixed income you learn to fix it yourself) and now I just love to fix or build things.
I am presently trying to rennovate a one bedroom frame house that my wife and I moved to a site near us. It is quite a project and it is slow going for me. I really appreciate all the advice I get here and everyone seems genuinely interested in helping each other out.
I want you all to know that the advice you give is invaluable and people such as myself are so grateful for your input and wisdom. Thanks again.
