New member with question
I have a new home with hydronic in floor heat. It would appear that I have a zone problem .... I think one of the in floor tubes were crushed at the time the concrete was placed. Has anyone had this problem and how was it fixed?
Thx. I live in Alberta Canada and the weather is getting colder and having the heat working would be nice.

I am not sure how new home warranties are in Canada, but, in the U.S., you have at least one year to get anything fixed that does not work. If it is a crushed line, that means digging up the concrete and repairing the line. Since they are run in a serpentine manner, you will have a problem finding where the bad spot is unless it is leaking there and rises up in the floor.

Check out what your installation was. You may be lucky if they put in a parallel system for the unforseen. - It is commonly done in Europe and maybe in Canada.
