New member - just arrived from UK

Hi there,

Just arrived in the Mid-West from the UK and starting to get my head around the differences from living in a stone built house with slate roof, 240V power supply and an oil fired combi boiler (it fed the central heating radiators and provided on demand hot water from a single unit) to being in a timber framed house, with 110/220V power supply, a basement, natural gas HVAC and a separate tank water heater. So forgive me for any 'obvious/stupid' questions. Any advice on routine/seasonal maintenance which I just might not be aware of would be gratefully received 😊
