I shall help you as best I can. Just remember to remind me about Maylasia and its building materials available, practices and codes as you go. Pictures posted will help a lot. Terms I know may be different than yours too. So do be patient?

So what are you up to taking on? Friends live in Maylasia and say I should come over for awhile. Central Illinois winters were too fun though. So I moved to Chicago again to work on a project or two. Temps in Maylasia are more or less the same as here this time of year come February? Wind chills of -25-30F for days in a row?

thank you for your kind welcome. i am currently sorting out the finance part and expect it to be completed by end march2010 , am currently planning with a view to start work in june. am scouring the net to find a better way to design a common utility ducting/piping system. what is the latest practice in illinois???

Not sure I understand your question. Ducting? Or piping?

both actually, i am trying to figure out a way whereby these ducting/piping are accessible as here in malaysia they are mostly installed in the attic among the roof beams,
possibly embedded in the floor for easy access but need to be reasonably cheap.
