Hello,

Just joined, I am trying to update an older home. This thing needs everything. I have had a new central system installed, new roof, new vinyl flooring in kitchen and bath rooms.

I am retired, and moved to this location, as I have a daughter close by. I like woodworking and can repair lots of different things. I do not like to paint. So this part of the job is slow going.

I am now into cleaning the outside, to repaint. The previous owner/painter did not prep this properly. I am having to scape the last coat of paint off. This has turned out to be a lot of work. I will then prime and then paint.

I have adjusted lots of stuff as this house has been totally neglected. New floor in the back bathroom shower. (tile) Lots of electrical updates, lots of plumbing updates. I still need to paint most of the inside as well.

Anyway, bottom line, I most likely should not have bought this property. It has needed lots more than I imaged. Everything that I touch turns into three projects.

Sorry for the rant.

Will be asking lots of questions.
