Hello All,

I'm obviously new to these forums. I recently bought a 100 year old duplex that is in pretty good shape but needs some attention here and there. I am not naturally handy (I envy all of you with engineering backgrounds!) and, unfortunately, the one guy I knew who was (my dad) passed away. So here I am -- I imagine I'll have plenty of newbie questions (mostly things I am thinking of doing that I just need to run by people who know what they are talking about).

Thanks,

Peter

Hi Peter,Welcome to the Forum
It was a Great idea to include your location in your profile.
That is because Akron Ohio is my hometown. I grew up
on Stewart Way off W.Market St near Balch St and went to
St V before moving to CA as a teenager.
