I am a self taught/still learning woodworker...homeowner. I usually ask a lot of questions when I am diving into uncharted territory as a DIYer.:)
I also write short (mostly true) stories regarding my woodworking/remodeling projects, my camping vacations, and any other of my experiences that end up being worth a chuckle.
At this moment I am "typing impared" due to a mishap with my tablesaw... cutting a 1/4"plywood door panel having it kick back and send my middle finger knuckle on my left hand into areas of pain I have had never experienced before.:censored: All is now getting better (after an overnight in the local hospital coupled with minor surgery to get said knuckle back into the joint).
I look forward to picking everyone's brain with questions and learning along the way.
Ok, so years later after trying to look every where accept at you Jr. High School shop teachers face it hurts, and now you want to listen.
I embrace your bravery and humility. As for your ability to turn a phrase...
Let us hope it is better than your confessed carpentry abilities.Your post has drawn me in, the counter will tell the tale.
Welcome.. I will forgive you as you forgive me. ( Kinda Biblical don't ya think).
So,what do you want to know?
Hi and welcome to the site...hopefully you won't suffer any more serious injuries while doing future projects. Good Luck....
