New Homeowner, Missouri!

Hi everyone! My name is Brandon and I am a new homeowner. Me and my wife just purchased our first home together so I am here to learn how to do some DIY carpentry along with general DIY.

Our first projects were simple. Changing out door knobs, painting, replacing light switches, and I even replaced the fan in our master bedroom. Currently the big project is the basement. It was fully finished when we purchased the house, however it was stuck in 1970's. So i am currently in the process of gutting the entire thing and will be dry walling the walls and ceiling.

Among other jobs in the basement I am pushing a wall back about 4 ft. to provide a larger living space and expanding the wet bar to accommodate a few bar stools.

I just wanted to say hello to everyone and hope I can learn a few things!
