new homeowner in Kansas

Hello! My wife and I bought our first home about 2 years ago in a suburb of Wichita, KS. We like the home and the neighborhood, but our eyes are being opened to the realities of home ownership, including the things that go wrong and the things we wish we knew before purchasing. We are not sure how long we will stay in this home, but we very well may decide to live here a long time. With that, I might need much advice on several projects (both repairs and improvements) from time to time.
Thanks,
Mike
