New homeowner

Greetings,
I just bought an older home and since I've blown
all my money on the house, I'm going to have to do
repairs and maintenance myself. This looks like a good
place to get relavent advice.

Welcome, how old is the house?
My last house was from 1905
This house is newer - from the 50's

Start making your 'to-do' list. I break mine into sections based on how long I think things might take: 5 min jobs, 1 hour jobs, 1/2 day jobs, 1 day jobs, 1 week jobs.

My new/old house is 1805. It only needs new electrical, plumbing, A/C, improved drainage, and a new roof.
