New home owner from VA

Hi everyone I just bought my first home. While it seems to have very good bones and not need a lot of major work. I am still new at home improvement stuff. I thought maybe joining here I could get some answers for my more technical questions.

My first task will be replacing the electrical, luckily my father is an electrician so I will be getting a crash course in that.

So wish me luck I hope to get lots of good info here, and maybe give some as time goes on.

I'm also a Computer Tech so if you have any of those kidns of questions I maybe able to help.

Thanks again and talk to you soon.
