New Home Owner - 113 year old victorian.

Hello,

My name is George and my wife and I purchased a home on January 18th, 2011. I have been watching this site since about January of 2010. I love a lot of the sections and I have followed a lot of the showcases.

My father is a general contractor and taught me a lot; but I didn't want to do it for a living. I am a software developer.

Having my own home is a dream; and although we didn't want a fixer-upper; we sort of found out after purchase that is exactly what we got. I have gotten the new office in; I will be starting a showcase post right after this.

I have really appreciated everyone's posts and I have already gotten some help with my new floor. I am currently seeking help with my foundation.
