New here - waving hi to everyone...
.
A few days ago, I was surfing on the internet and found this site. Thought I'd sign up and share some of my knowledge. Thus, hopefully helping others with their repair or "new build" projects. And in turn, others can help me with my projects as well. Especially the parts I need help with. For me, working on my home or other things helps me relieve stress. After Designing, cutting, pounding or screwing, my mind and body are much more relaxed. Some folks "run away" from construction work but for me, I enjoy it. Much better then sitting on one's tail at an office job all day long. For me, my favorite construction is structure, electrical (110/120 & 12V) & deck building. I hate "cosmentics". To this day, I still don't know where to use latix or where to use oil based paints. Perhaps one day, I'll get the hang of that area as well. Only time will tell... . |

Welcome Spike, lots a good info here, I can relate with the stress thing, it's always great to come home and work on my own projects. My wife doesn't understand that mode of thinking though, so I tell her it's a "guy thing!" What's your area of expertise?
