New guy from Charlotte

Hello fellow DIYers,

My fiancee and I just purchased our first home and we are ready to begin the life of home ownership. I did lots of Googling around and this site appears to be the largest DIY/Homeowner forum around so I figured I might as well join.

We won't be moving in until early December so I will probably just lurk around for a while but we have lots of small projects we'd like to tackle so I can't wait to get some good tips.

Thanks!

Welcome to the Forum
I have a JLC good friend in Huntersville.
It is a good idea to include your location in your profile.
Also check out how to Post pictures in the How To section,

I made updates to my profile so it should show me in Charlotte now. Our first projects on the house will include lots of paint (I bought a Titan airless sprayer), wainscoting in the living room, removing crabgrass and clover from the lawn (only .13 acres), and possibly refinishing the hardwood floors to a darker color. Can't wait
