new to forum

Hello all:

I am new to the forum and I hope that this one is as helpful and full of great folks as ones I have joined in the past.

I consider myself relatively handy doing everything from mechanical (auto and machinery), to electrical, plumbing, framing, drywall, and more as needed.

It took me a long time to try, I think it was a patience thing, but I have noticed that the more I do, the more I learn and the better the results.

My wife and I bought a farm and we are updating the old part (mostly to straighten the floors and add insulation) and making changes to suit us. we try to do one project a year, usually starting about now so that we are done by the time the good weather comes and we can work outside again.

we are doing two projects i think this year, the first is building some under the stairs storage and the second will be a total gut and redesign of the second floor in the old farm house part (about 425 sqft).

I have already posted a thread about ideas for showers, so I hope to get some really good suggestions..

I hope to hear from some of you and hope to be of help to others.

by for now.
