I have been DIY most of my life. I've done dry walls, tile, paint inside and out, always in a manner that might be regarded as sub-optimal. For example, I got a new toilet only to find out that it's a small model, maybe meant for a kid's bathroom or something. I didn't even know those things came in different sizes.

At my age I'm turning jobs over to professional people, but I still do them occasionally. My latest project is putting soffit holes in a detached garage. So I'm using a 2" hole saw to cut through plywood, but my drill is a portable job and underpowered. I can get through 2 and one half holes on a charge, but I refuse to get another drill just for this one job.

Regardless, I'm hoping this forum will help me improve my skills.
