My resume

I'm retired, in my 70's, and do have a lot of experience as an amateur in the various house trades. I've tried almost every trade at least once, and whether I was successful or not, at least I learned the language. We recently downsized to a smaller house, about 1,200 sq ft plus half finished lower level, built in 1977. Location is NH. House is pretty well built and fairly well insulated. Previous owners did some weird things (like using 24 drywall screws where four would have been OK). I'm gradually turning more tasks over to the professionals, though, because of bad knees, eyesight, etc. But before I talk to a pro about a project, I like to do a lot of research so I can ask intelligent questions. Fortunately in small town NH the tradesmen are pretty straight and honest, because everyone knows them and everyone talks about their work. They also speak good English. This site seems to be lively and active, so here I am.
