looking for remodling help

Hi, found this site after buying our house last month and already started our first roject. knocked out a wall in a room that we wanted to be a closet. found the old heating pipes behind it and had to remove them. It has been a much bigger project than we thought it would be. It will look great when done but I need some hel with a few odds and ends then off to bigger projects. We love our home, just know that there are many improvements on the way. Looking forward to reading the knowledge of others and gleaning from their tips.

On thing that has helped us tremendously is to make an overall list of your projects (it gets scary to write them all down, I know....) and at least put a guestimate against when you might do them. Figure out your top 5 priorities, at least. This can help keep you on track and help you avoid jumping into projects on the fly -- like we ALL do!

Plan on most all of your projects being like this and they will be less stressfull. Once in a while one will pleasantly surprise you by being about the same size you thought would be.
