Hello!

I am a full-time symphony orchestra member who also repairs instruments. I have decided to build a real workshop in my carport and also need to do a lot of repair, upgrading and remodeling to my 1937 home.

So I will probably end up a regular here over the next few years. ;-)

I have gained a lot of DIY insight and knowledge via Google this past year. More often than not I am pointed here. So thanks to this community for all the excellent information.

I need an ever-increasing pool of knowledge as I get more deeply involved in the health of my home - AND - I now know enough about a few things that I am able to participate in the dance, so to speak.

So here I am, for better or worse...
