We purchased a new sony LCD T.V. we went to plug it in after we hooked up the cable cord and it blow the house breaker. We then put a bigger breaker in and it worked for a while until we hooked up a PS3 with a hd cable to the T.V. it then fried the cable spitter and we ended up with no cable in that box.We then had the cable man down and he fixed the splitter and we got cable back in the cable box he went on to hook up a high definition cable box to the T.V. and it worked great when he went to hook up the ps3 with a high definition cord it fried the spitter again and to the cable back out of the cable box outlet. He was not certain what was causing the problem He had never seen anything like this happen before. He tested the cable wires that were coming off the T.V. and fould there was 110 volts of electicity going threw the HD cable he said that he thinks there is something wrong with the T.V. whne I called the sony company and explained it to them they said that it wasn't posible for elictricity to come from the T.V. threw the hd cable cord and that they would send a T.V. repair man out to look at it.Has anyone ever had a problem like this and how did they solve it.
