Knowledge Seeker from PA

I just joined. I'm not a DIY, however I hope to learn enough to pick good contractors to do the work for me or maybe one day become a DIY. Anyway, I look forward to visiting the forums in my search for knowledge.

I am also from PA and am new to this site, but will frequent it often. I am the ultimate DIYer. I have a 2 car garage that a car will not fit in due to my DIY projects. They range from simple home repairs to designing and building a prototype gas powered baseball/softball pitching machine. I fix everything and don't throw anything out if I think it can be used to fix something later. I feel I can jury rig just about anything. I was a mechanic in the Navy on submarines so I guess my knack for fixing things has never really gone away. Enough rambling, glad to be here and look forward to adding my $0.02 worth where applicable. Good luck with your projects.

Tukibird..sounds like a nice man cave you have there with the 2 car gargare...might consider picking up a 26" tv on craigs list FREE, and cable it up...get a used stereo amp wire in the audio from the TV to the amps AUX and speaker it up.... when you "putzzin" around great for sports and DIY shows on a saturday/sunday R&R

Hi guys! Just joined this forum.

My name is Cam and i have worked with my families electrical company for about 15 years, and i juts opened my own company after my families downsized. My website is http://ranchoelectric.info and i would really like some feedback on it!

What im doing is putting a lot of free electrical information out there for my customers to show them as much as i can about the trade. I write different blogs like my post about "]ceiling fans

What does every one think of this way of getting customers?

-Cam
